Nick Saban is Scum

After repeatedly denying that he'd take the 'Bama job, ESPN reports that Nick Saban has done just that. Thanks for the memories here in South Florida, you wormy little prick. I hated you at LSU, grew to love you here in S. FL, and now I get to hate you again. The bright spot here is that my Gators, along w/the Ole Ball Coach, and your only true bright spot on your resume (LSU) are going to eat your lunch for the next eight years (well maybe two, after you sell out another group of guys for more money). You truly are a spineless jerk who has shown his true colors. Good luck recruiting in the south with your unstable track record.

I'm on this UF thing

Sorry I can't get off the topic, but I'm too ecstatic! What I wouldn't give for a shot at going to this game. UF-Ohio St. in Glendale AZ? Weather is going to be beautiful. The electricity in the air...this is going to be great. Ahh, So what if I'm not there? I have 42" of pure HD viewing 10 feet in front of my couch! Saddle up w/a few beers and some fellow faithfuls and we have ourselves a game!!

On a down note, it sucks the hoops team has already dropped two games. Whatever, half the team and the coach have mono, and it's only Dec. 5. I hate to be greedy but we'll be back come March, loaded w/two national hoops titles and the Sears trophy. Who's better than the Gators? Sorry for being so lame, but I can't get over this. Maybe as we get a little closer and the novelty wears off and I begin the "worry" phase of this whole thing we can move on to a different topic. Until then......

It' Great, To Be, A FLORIDA GATOR!!!

So we finally did it. Six years in the making. The day finally came on saturday. That's right, my beloved Gators won an SEC Championship. The last several years have been agonizing watching teams like UGA, Tennessee, and LSU compete for the SEC crown and BCS bowls, while we soured in mediorcrity. My moment is finally here.....but wait...did I hear that correctly....we're what? That's right, you heard correctly. We are playing in the The BCS National Championship game to boot!!!!!!

What a year! NCAA Men's Basketball Champs and now this opportunity. If/When we win this thing, I'll pretty much be able to chalk this year up as the pinnacle of my life.

I'm a little gitty right now, so I don't really know what to say. I went out on the boat last night thinking "why watch the BCS selection show and get let down?". I thought for sure Michigan was going to get in. And here I am, Monday morning, getting the news that we're going to the "BIG ONE"!!!! This is better than Christmas morning. O yea, speaking of Christmas, the holidays are upon us. I've checked out a few stocking stuffers for the Gator fan in your life. Escpecially a little something for the kids. There is never enough Gator memorabilia out there, so forget the diamonds this year and get a little something for the wife too!

The depth of my glee is reminiscent of an abyss. I've been pretty patient the last 10 years waiting for another national championship in football. If we win this thing, it may just leave an eternal smile on my face! GO GATORS!!!!!

Introduction

Ladies and gentlemen, children over the age of 13, welcome to my Blog! My name is Jeffrey Allyn Roach, Jr. Over the course of an unspecified amount of time, I will, on a daily basis be posting blogs on topics such as love, life, death, sports, politics, family, relationships, and any other topic that may pass through my head at any particular moment.

Understand that your feedback (that's right YOU) will be instrumental in the direction with which I'll steer our topics. So please, pretty please, with sugar on top, don't hesitate to comment. Although I am the director, the potentate, the master of this domain, realize that I do not rule with an iron fist. All topics will be open for discussion and my o my, I cannot wait to see what types of minds appear out of the woodwork. So godspeed my friends, until tomorrow when we begin, The General Ramblings of the Aforementioned Mr. Roach....
